This afternoon the kids and I went to the local Mickey D's for a playdate. My friend Andrea and I have known each other for about 6 1/2 years. Her daughter Makaylee is 4 and Ella Grace is 4 1/2, her son Landry is 2 and Major will be three next week! (AAGGGHH! :) ) Anyway, today was the first time our kids have even met! I know that is so terrible. We really have tried to get together before, but we both stay so busy! We have family in-state, but out of town. Andrea is from Texas.
Anyway, we were able to endure the hot, hot sun and let the kids play for a while. I think they enjoyed meeting each other (finally).

Andrea & I couldn't get over this. Just outside the playground gate and across the street at the service station, these girls were dressed fAnCy. If this is how they dress to get gas, what do they wear to prom or homecoming?!
Even after repeatedly holding his ice cream cone like this, amazingly it never fell and he never dropped it!
They put SO much ice cream on these cones I had a tummy ache from just helping them eat them!

When we got home, I had some tired, dirty, sweaty kids. Quick bath and Skype'd Daddy, then off to bed they go!
