I had a short meeting to be present at Monday after work. Well, it actually started at 6:00. So, I planned ahead and packed up some leftovers for the kids to eat for dinner. I picked them up from school at their regular pick-up time and we went back to my office. They were excited to be there, and waited patiently while I warmed dinner. My friend Landon came in, and the kids pretended to be shy! They barely spoke, but I know they liked the attention! After dinner in my office, we headed to the meeting.
We were there for just a few minutes, and could have headed home. BUT, it was beautiful out and the fountain was on. Knowing I could grab two old t-shirts, the kids took off their shoes and socks and off they went. They had a blast and were so very tired when we got home. That was a great night's sleep!
