Crossing Oceans

I have been reading a good bit lately. While the kids are playing in the backyard, at swim lessons or before I go to bed, mostly. One of the books that has been on my list was "Crossing Oceans" by Gina Holmes.

I picked it up last week at the library finally. Books usually don't get to me. I typically read fiction, so I know it isn't real. And those Amish books I read, well, I honestly can't relate to them in many ways - they are just enjoyable.

Saturday night when I was reading this book, I got to the point I was crying! I don't know if it was that is seemed that realistic or due to the passing of my friend Anna earlier this week. I almost decided just to put the book down and return it to the library unfinished. I don't think I have ever done that, though. So, I finished it earlier this afternoon. It was a hard book and I caught myself crying again.

So, if you are up for it, it's definitely a good book. If you are a little emotional, I think I'd pass if given a second chance!
