Oh, Christmas Tree!

I can't believe I have had our tree up since November 13! Jeremy was traveling and I decided I would get it started so the boxes would be put up before we returned from our Thanksgiving travels, and December.

Major & I put the tree up Friday (11/11) while Ella Grace was at school. We pulled a few things out and then I let them decorate! How excited these kids were!

On that Sunday, our church was hosting its first Homecoming since our current pastor has been there (which is a really long time). We took a big pan of homemade mac and cheese, and I loaded up my babies. The plan (for everyone) was to go to big church and then have dinner on the grounds, move on out to the activities and be dismissed. We ate, they had their face and arm painted, bounced, played a little corn hole and looked at cars!

Sunday evening we had to make Ella Grace's turkey. It started just plain 'ole brown. The note stated it was supposed to be decorated to avoid its Thanksgiving Day demise.
Ella Grace proudly camouflaged her turkey, like her Daddy and Granddaddy hunt on Thanksgiving (or around Thanksgiving).

Homecoming

Whoo! Hoo! It's homecoming week at UA. There has been a lot going on on-campus, as I see it walking in and out of the office each day. I'm really hoping the weather will be nice at the end of the week. I hope we can find a little time to take the kids to see the lawn decorations on Friday and then to the parade on Saturday. We've gone to parades several times, usually the kids and I since Jeremy usually has to work, and they have a lot of fun. (Other than when the firetrucks or large trucks come by and toot their horns!)

We are looking forward to Friday evening. We are planning to meet some friends from back home for dinner. They come down for each home game, and travel a lot to watch the team. We have been able to visit several times over the last couple of years.

Hopefully, I will be able to get some pictures and post later. Maybe a little surprise if the kids will cooperate!

Roooooolllll Tide, Roll!
