I cannot believe Halloween is long-gone, Thanksgiving is here and Christmas is, well, here too if you go out of your house! I do admit I have had my tree up for about two weeks already. My husband was traveling and we will be traveling some and I just wanted to be able to enjoy it. By that I mean, switch holidays and not have a mess of boxes and stuff around for a few days, which would really just cut in to enjoying the decorations.
In the time that has passed, I did celebrate a milestone birthday. My sweet baby girl planned a secret with her daddy. After we picked her up from school on my birthday, she surprised me with a trip to Kohl's. It was a pretty entertaining trip. She would pull me one way to look at what she wanted, and Major would pull in the opposite direction. No gifts came from the trip, I was happy to have survived with both of my arms intact.
Ella Grace has two wiggly teeth now! I am excited for her, but yet another change that proves she is growing up (absolutely too fast!)! As soon as it started wiggling I found a tooth fairy pillow and it has already arrived! Whew! That's something you aren't quite sure when to get. I suppose I should get Major one, as well...he will probably lose a tooth another way! ha
Oh, and speaking of my Gracie-Lou-Hoo! She got her first report card at school on Friday! She made all "S's" /100%! So proud of her! She is doing super on her sight words and the teacher even gave me their second list to start working on with her. I had been using a completely different set of sight words before and so she really is doing a great job.
Well, lots to do tomorrow! Oil change, errands, school lunch. It should all be fun!
