We have really been trying to encourage Ella Grace to be mindful of her body at night and get up to go to the potty. Jeremy had been telling her after she woke up dry for 5 nights in a row she could wear her big girl panties to bed. Tuesday morning was her 5th in a row, so last night we kept the Strawberry Shortcake panties on. We decided not to wake her up to potty before we went to bed and I wondered through the night when she would get up needing new sheets on her bed. Never happened! She was completely dry this morning.
I finally got her out of bed and trying to get her to the potty, and Major said "Go potty." I asked him if he wanted to go too, and he shook his little head yes. So off we all went to the bathroom. Ella Grace did her thing, and Major, believe it or not, took the opportunity to tee-tee and poo in the potty. (Sorry if that 's too much for anyone. But, yea!, what a big step!)
We've definitely have some things to celebrate!
